The Victorian Parents Council welcomes participation by all individuals such as parents, educators and guardians. We also work in partnership with many schools and provide opportunities for all businesses to become corporate sponsors and collaborators.
In Australian and across the globe, strong, equitable and accessible education is the key to so many doors for every child.
The first steps on the pathways that we take through life are to a large extent determined by how we learn, from 0 to aged 99. Our ability to access education, make social and intellectual connections and the resources of those that guide us are crucial building blocks to a successful and happy life.
At VPC we love to support the entire community; the village that raises a child. With online resources and live events, VPC helps to provide support to the entire village on and offline. We welcome all parents, educators, schools and businesses and the extended family of caring individuals who help our children learn and grow, as VPC members.

SUCCESSFUL LEARNING
Successful Learning workshop series can help your school give students and parents the best possible start to early learning and literacy and set the tone for encouraging parent engagement.
Successful Learning is a parent-to-parent workshop series that helps schools encourage and support families to engage in their children’s early learning and literacy. It is tailored to become an integral part of your school’s induction, teaching and student’s learning in the early years. The workshops communicate the value of parents and teachers working together as partners in children’s learning.
Parental engagement makes an important difference to children’s readiness for school, their interest in learning, their academic success and well-being.
